All programs and divisions of the South Carolina Military Department, including SCEMD, adhere to the same process for receiving and fulfilling requests for information in accordance with the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act.

All FOIA Requests must be in writing and either emailed it to PIO@emd.sc.gov, or sent via US Mail to:

To assist you with filing your FOIA request with SCEMD, you may use the provided Freedom of Information Request Form below to either email as an attachment or to print and mail. Reasonable fees associated with fulfilling a FOIA request may be assessed per the S.C. Military Department’s established FOIA Fee Schedule.
